How do you grow out short hair?

Recently I have made the mistake of cutting my hair to a very short style. I have been growing it out for 4 months now, and am now at the stage where my hair looks auful! I can tie part of my hair back, but not all of it. I am also at school and do not want to do anything stupid because I already am a complete loser (after having lesbian rumours spread about me because of the short hair). What do I do???!!!

But if your worried about your hair growing out there's nothing you can do besides wait. You could maybe get some bobby pins and play around with your style, pin some strands back or do a little poof like mostly everyone rocks right now

but just get a trim every 4-6 weeks, it will help it grow faster and until it does just play around with it until you find a style you like

Ignore them, you are being an individual, you are different and unique, I bet none of them would dare to cut their hair for fear of seeming 'different' they are so insecure they have to be like everybody else? Some tips....

鈾se a gentle shampoo - shampoo every other day. The days which you don't shampoo, use a regular conditioner and rinse well.

鈾lways use conditioner! And, let it stay in your hair for atleast 1-2 minutes.

鈾eave in conditioner! I like tresseme, it's light and doesn't leave your hair oily.

鈾void blowdryers, curling/straightening irons. If you MUST, try not to use the daily - give your hair a break.

鈾ever spray perfume or anything with alcohol listed as an ingredient in your hair.

鈾se deep conditioners, atleas 1-2 time per week. Leave in hair 10-20 minutes. I like Aussie Deeep conditioner. I actually let the conditioner dry in my hair and keep in in overnight, and wash it out first thing in the morning - atleast once per month.

鈾nip those split ins! Whether you do it individually like I do, or just have regular trims. Don't have TOO much trimmed, though, or you will defeat the purpose! lol

鈾ane'N'Tail shampoo and conditioner are known to improve the condition of hair, and stimulate growth.

鈾f you expose your hair to harsh chemicals, or other elements, deep condition more often.

鈾ever brush wet hair.

鈾e gentle with the towel! I've seen a lot of people rough their hair up with a towel after washing - Don't! Be gentle.

鈾iotin! I love Biotin. I take 5,000 MG daily. It's great for skin, hair and nail health!

鈾ater, lotsa water! Being well hydrated is important!

鈾ood nutrition: Healthy food choices. Lots of veggies and fruit, lean protein.. GOOD fats! The good fats that you can find in fish (Omega 3), seeds, nuts, olive oil - all are excellent for you, and for you hair!
