seriously....I've met more men and straight women who have mullets. and I know lots of straight women who have short hair. why? because it's easier to take care of. has nothing to do with gender or sexual orientation....

The ones that are the"man" usually tries to look manly. Mullett hairstyles SUCK. but some people refuse to try new things, I really love th mulletts with the tail in the back REALLY COOL................................NOT!

I think that the mullett style is common among both men and women. It's a whole culture of their own. There are even awards given for best mullet.

Short hair is easier to care for. I know tons of straight women with really short hair.

I'm a lesbian and my hair is down to the middle of my back. I'd never cut it short. Personal preference.

Lesbians stereotypically tend to be more "butch" and "manlike" so they go for the dudes hairstyles.

But all lesbians dont have mullets/dude hair.

some lesbians want to look like men just as some gays want to look like women. Personally, I'm a very girly-girl, who likes her girl to look girly as well! (ie: if I wanted to date someone who looked like a man I would date a man) So NOT ALL LESBIANS HAVE MULLETTS!!!
