Just use a molding cream (it an also be called hair wax and hair putty. Dove makes a fairly cheap one (Dove defined texture molding cream) Or Bed Head makes a really good one too (Bed Head manipulator) but isn't cheap! You can find both of these in almost any store that sells hair care products
You can also go to your local beauty store (If you have a Sally's, they've got some great deals), and tell them what your looking for. They'll be able to show you what products would work best on your hair type.
I am a black woman with a short hair style. What products give the straight "pixey" look like Nia Long?
LOL @ the short pixie look! Nia Long basically has a relaxer. You should consult your hairdresser for the strength and brand that you would need. You want to be careful because damaged hair is harder to hide when it is shorter.
Good Luck
