first, cutie, it's lives, not lifes. secondly, you just answered the question, so i guess you were talking about yourself when you talked about the people that have no lives and sit on the computer all day long.

i have short brown hair; got it cut a few months ago. when it's really short, i sometimes spike it up with a little gel or hair wax. as it grows out, i put more curls in it, sometimes wearing flips (curl hair up instead of down). there are a lot of great sites out there will tons of ideas, just run a search for "short hairstyles" and you'll get a lot of ideas that are pretty simple to do at home. one thing that is very important, at least for me, is to have curling irons in different sizes.
