My hair looks almost identical to this:

only it is dark brown and slightly longer bangs.
Would highlights work?
if so, what is the best highlighting kit? where do you get it?
it's just kind of expensive for me to go to the hairsylist..
what color would suit this color hair?:

THANX!
SHORT HAIR question??
Highlights are great! Depends on what you want, i would go with red, blue or light brown highlights. Well i think the best is Revlon or Loreal hair products...Theyre availabe anywhere like hair salons, Target, WalMart, drug stores ect. It only costs about $7 for a 2 pack! Hope i helped :)
SHORT HAIR question??
I think highlights would work.
SHORT HAIR question??
i think that highlights might be a little too much because you already have a bold hair cut. if you wanted to do color i would do some low lights and maybe one or two shades lighter if you wanted highlights. as far as coloring kits, i believe Lorel makes some nice kits that you can get at wal-mart, rite aid and stores like that
SHORT HAIR question??
Nothing to bright. A nice honey or light brown would look good, but the lighter you go, the faker and more gross it looks.
SHORT HAIR question??
try garnier color breaks. it's pretty easy to use. You just brush it onto certain strands that you want highlighted and then you think it will get onto the rest of your hair when you put it back but it doesn't!!! I totally just used it last night and it worked great.
And they have a kit for darker hair. don't get the one for blondes you will look weird. get the one for darker hair.
Or... since your hair is short, you could use a highlighting cap. With that you will probably end up with more highlights. You can get the cap at sally's beauty supply or any other beauty or hair store pretty much. Then you find a color that you like, I would probably go for a dark reddish color, or like a medium brown. If it's a permanent dye then you don't have to bleach the hair first. If it's semi permanent or something then it might not show up.
